playing with 2.12.1.1 in SP and also looking at the southern area of the exposed dynamap area on the server, around 1028 -7000.... world-gen looks like it is not working right. lots of unnatural straight lines. check out this pic--from SP, look at the minimap and how it looks in the dark middle view... http://i.imgur.com/wrmHkJ7.jpg

did not see anything like this in 2.12.0 or 2.11, i think.
